I have a 98 5.2 litre limited and it's the Bomb! Comfortable as hell reliable and fast as far as I'm concerned especially when you run the Gears and ain't afraid to drive it like a man! It gets great gas mileage to if you drive it normal -- although I won't lie it's hard to because it's so fun when your getting on it Oh yea not to mention it's basically un fuckin stoppable !! Me personally I love the 249 transfer case - it wins me every race especially when it's raining out or just plain wet out. Great fun in a plush nice ride. Keep it up a0nd thanks for your story! DT

30 years later, I still dont understand how they stuffed 2 different v8's in these old grand cherokees. There's barely any room! My little brother has the 4.0L, straight six, still daily drives it in rust belt Toronto, and I thought that thing was nearly impossible to work on because it's a tight fit. Couldn't imagine the v8's I have the same 5.2 in a 2001 mexican ramcharger, and I can legit jump in the engine bay, there is so much room.
Considering that the 5.2 and the 5.9 are the same exterior dimensions, there is just enough room to fit either V8 into the ZJ but it is fairly tight in there with little to no room between the front accessories and the fan/radiator. In the Durango and the Ram there is plenty of space between the front accessories and fan/radiator. The hood and front fenders are longer on the Dodge trucks than the ZJ.

Been seeing too many signs lately, I had to make a video describing the changes going on and how something has been wrong for the last few years but it's about to change because men are waking up to the lies, deception, and manipulation.
Good to hear from you, lad! Things here have been pretty difficult, although I know that's temporary. Relapsed a few weeks ago, immediately regretted. But I feel myself getting better every day. The breathing is the most affected when it happens. Sore throat, coughing, allergies kick in...hell, I even got a cold last time. I'm still recovering from that. Reaching the 10-15 day threshold is important, I sense the urges stronger in this period, but once past that, it feels lighter, I can see more clearly, in every aspect. It's been a long time since I've retained for longer than 30 days, I hope to reach and surprass that soon. Until it reached a point in which days stop counting. As for the rest...things are getting good, let the w0m3n choose dem bears, we don't need to do anything, just watch shit go down. 🍷🗿👍🏻

I kid you not, the back pain disappeared and my arm is like 90% better. And I noticed all this because I haven't been releasing it. So yeah, I'm on the same boat about being afraid to release. The long-term benefits far outweigh the short-term pleasure. When one finds other activities to keep their mind busy, combined with SR, the energy flows properly through your body and you start seeing the blessings. 😎🤜🤛😎

2005--my new ram had a 4.7--just fyi--traded it for a 5.7
In 2005 the Grand Cherokee (WK1) had 3 engine options: 3.7L V6, 4.7L V8, and 5.7L V8. The next year in 2006 is when the SRT8 Jeep with the 6.1L V8 was introduced.

Nitrous alone wouldn’t be enough. I would need to go max effort with a 408 stroker, heads/cam, a supercharger, and nitrous to beat a C7 Z06.

Thank you brother, much appreciated. I like the older Jeeps more than the newer ones. They are smaller, lighter, more reliable, and built to last. The Trackhawk is faster and nicer but it will never be able to do everything and do everything well like a ZJ can. The ZJ is the best all purpose Jeep Grand Cherokee ever built. It can be lifted, lowered or left alone and it does all of these things phenomenally.

@@leakyjeep5.9 AntigravityBatteries.com This is the ATX30-HD which only weighs 7.8 lbs but they have larger batteries that are the same size as the factory battery but obviously are much lighter. I believe H7 is the size of the factory battery.
This is definitely the future, but I hope they come down in price. I wonder how the lithium ion does in freezing temps over time.
@@leakyjeep5.9 It should hold up fine. I saw a video of a dude who had the larger lithium battery H6 or H7 in a C8 Z06. He didn't start it once all winter and after 4 months it started right up and it wasn't even left on a battery tender.

I have a 98 5.9 zj right, do you have any clue as to why it looses soooo much power when 2 other passengers get in( other than the fact it’s 26 yrs old). do you have any suggestions to not suffer from this power loss?
Carrying around an extra few hundred pounds you'll definitely feel that. I'd put money on your motor being due for a rebuild if it really feels like crap

Could you install all LED's without error Code or did ya have to install a resistor?
You won't get any error codes but from my experience if you put LED bulbs in your front turn signals you will get hyperflash when you use the blinker. This can be resolved with a resistor but I never got around to installing one.

I knew a feller with a 5.2 in a 97 Ram the cat clogged and it made no power at all...way to go Dodge...😂
70-90 pull and 80-108 pull was pretty badass. 80 mph at 2200 rpm is really great highway gears like my 1998 ZJ Grand Cherokee 5.9 limited which also has white face gauges
